Raqc Adventures – CATALINA ISLAND

Catalina Island

Catalina Island for me has become my home away from home.

Catalina-Island-30837

I love the fact that I can take a ferry and in 1 hour I am on an Island. Not just any Island, Catalina Island, the Island of peace of mind & tranquility.

My life is always on the GO so when I have writing assignments or projects that require a lot of attention I flock to Catalina Island to feel at peace and to truly experience mental clarity.

The Island is also a great place to visit with your close friends and family. They have tons of great restaurants, my favorite would have to be the Avalon Grille because the chef there is the greatest. You can tell he adds love to all his dishes. Make sure you ask for Chef Edwin Robles when you are there.

Another thing I absolutely loved about my last few trips was my Zip Lining experience. It was so fun, I literally felt like Tarzan as I threw myself off those zip line ropes oh and lets not forget the Spa at Catalina Island. Besides the massages & facilities being on point the staff is professional and the food at the spa is delicious. The quinoa salad is a must have.

There’s no way to have a bad day when visiting Catalina Island!

Raqc Adventures – LONDON

LONDON-

london22
This was my 1st time traveling to London, a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. I had seen pictures of London and would try to imagine the vibe and feel of the city but it’s not until you are actually there that you truly FEEL the energy of this BIG city.

The red double decker busses, the people walking on the street, the fancy shops & boutiques and of course the coffee shops were to die for. Buckingham palace is a must see especially the changing of the guards ceremony. Many times you see the changing of the guards in movies but when you are actually seeing it live it gives you the chills.

Another MUST SEE place is the Big Ben clock & of course the Westmister Abbey, the place princess Diana got married.

Raqc Adventures – Sweden/ Copenhagen

COPENHAGEN,DENMARK-

If there is one word to describe Copenhagen it would have to be “dreamy.” Very 18th century inspired you are surrounded by colorful buildings, palaces and a very Renaissance vibe.

Walking through the streets of Copenhagen felt like a fairy tale. The buildings look straight out of a story book. The architecture of the buildings make you want to constantly take pictures. You are surrounded by constant BEAUTY.

My trip to Copenhagen was very last minute & spontaeous and I dont regret going one bit, in fact I will be going back soon.

Thank you Copenhagen for being so beautiful & HAPPY!

Raqc Adventures – Poland

POLAND-

Poland is known for its medieval architecture, Jewish heritage and hearty cuisine. One of my favorite places I have traveled to thus far.

This place is ENCHANTED. Everything from the streets, to the buildings, to the people were so amazing. I got to visit Krakow, Poland known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. The food at the Jewish Quarter was so DELISH! We ate until we were super stuffed, but the cool part about POLAND is you can always walk it off walking those BEAUTIFUL streets.

poland

The other amazing experience I got to have was visiting the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland. This experience is hard to explain in words. It’s an EXPERIENCE you must experience for yourself.

Poland, I will see you SOON again. Thank you for all the good memories!

Raqc Adventures – MIAMI

MIAMI-

A city I love to travel to because of the Beaches & Cuban Cafes where I can get my Café con Leche Fix.

Miami Skyline

The energy of Miami is one of a kind. I love the Sazon that you feel in the city. It feels like everyone is ALIVE. While in South Beach I love to hear the cars passing by bumping reggaeton. The Latin vibe is real and it feels so good, I feel as though I belong.

This time we stayed in the Miami Arts District & I loved it. There was a Cuban Café on the 1st floor of the Condo’s we were staying at. I was in heaven.

The gym we had access to for 5 days was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! State of the Art type of gym. The View from Biscayne Blvd was BREATHTAKING every time I looked at it.

I love to get lost in the Miami water, I feel it hugs me everytime!
