RaqC’s Amigas 4 My Soul: 1st Annual “Prom Dress Giveaway!”
The 1st annual AMIGAS 4 MY SOUL “Prom Dress Giveaway” went down this past Saturday & it was a total SUCCESS! I was SO proud. We were able to make so many young ladies SMILE, young ladies that could not otherwise afford a prom dress for various reasons or circumstances. Not only did we provide them with a LARGE variety of dresses to choose from, we also surprised them with jewelry, shoes, hair/ makeup, gift cards, & flowers. We were able to grant their wish & send them off like princesses. The 8 young ladies walked away….HOOKED UP. I like to call it blessed!! I must thank all of the volunteers, who donated their valuable time and awesome energy to such a great cause. You ladies ROCK! We also teamed up with ESPERANZA4YOU (a charity that I hold close to my heart) & collected fleece blankets that will help keep many homeless persons warm this winter. Thank you to everyone who brought a blanket!. That’s what Amigas 4 My Soul is about…..EMPOWERING, MOTIVATING & INSPIRING!
