I know alot of us especially growing up in a Latino house hold are used to eating rice & beans with everything right??? Well……Steak and potatoes, tuna-noodle casserole, scrambled eggs with toast..are all classic examples of why the Standard American Diet is making us fatter and more prone to disease.
After eating one of those traditional American meals, you might experience bloating or feel gassy, dehydrated or tired. WELL, No wonder! They violate all the principles of food combining.

#1. EAT FRUITS ALONE
– (DON’T MIX YOUR FRUITS) The exceptions are sour fruits like lemons and limes, unsweetened juices from cranberries and black currants, and pomegranates. These fruits are very low in sugars and are safe to eat, even in the initial, more limited phase of the program.


#2. EAT PROTEIN WITH NON STARCHY VEGGIES-

When you eat proteins like CHICKEN, FISH, MEAT, & eggs, DON’T MIX them with starchy food. If you eat proteins and starches together, they tend to neutralize each other and inhibit digestion. It also provides a welcome environment for disease-causing pathogens! NOT ONLY THAT IT MAKES U FEEL BLOATED & GROSS! Example of what to eat is in the pic above. That was my lunch yesterday. Chicken, brocolli & mushrooms. PERFECT COMBO! SOUNDS TOUGH BUT ITS VERY POSSIBLE TO EAT HEALTHY & STAR ENJOYING IT!
