So guess what? This coming weekend im getting away….super excited! And guess where i’m going? Mt. Rushmore National Memorial! Yes. Such a historical place and I will be there up close & personal! Sculptures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln represent the first 150 years of the history of the United States. The memorial is a reminder to everyone that “even the impossible is possible” No one ever believed anyone could ever carve faces into a mountain and look! AMAZING!

Today I had the honor of hosting the  2009 LATINO HERITAGE MONTH POSTER CONTEST AWARDS CEREMONY with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.  This contest invites students from kindergarten through high school, to explore significant events or individuals of the Latino Culture and highlight their own artistic skills and interpretation of the theme. Community members, artists and members of the Latino Heritage Month Committee judged entries. This year there were over 400 entries.

So my friends Desi & Nate are the owners of Famous Cupcakes, they have a location in North Hollywood and just opened up a new location in Beverly Hills, I had the honor of attending the star studded event hosted by the Kardashians last night. We had a blast, drank some good champagne, ate some good sushi and of course grubbed on some delicous cupcakes (my favorite red velvet)!! My mommy was my date for the night!
